Waiting for Ms Cherryh to write the next Foreigner Series book leads to more pictures. There are now NINE books in the series, with each set of three a complete story. Go - Read Now!
This was drawn in June of 2007. It features Bren Cameron having tea with Grandmother Ilisidi on the Balcony.
And you ... you have just had the misfortune of wandering into the room. Yup, bad luck, friend. And poor Cameron there is thinking really, really fast in hopes to keep you alive now that Ilisidi has noticed you.
Run! Run fast, fool! Before she offers you her special brand of "tea".
10 x 14 on 2 ply bristol. Derwent Watercolor and Derwent Inktense Pencils with some bright white ink thrown in for highlights.

Thank you! And it's a older series, though current (the newest book came out this year), called FOREIGNER (name of the series and the first book) by C. J. Cherryh.
If you get a chance to read it, I hope you'll enjoy it much.

Yay! So good to hear from you! And you're also a Foreigner fan! Also very very cool!
And yes, you're very bad. There are now nine. I have all of the titles listed here: [link]
Though I've been kinda saving the eigth and ninth ones to read soon. Because when they're gone, I have to wait til she writes another one. (makes face)
Again -- so good to hear from you! I was just thinking about you the other day.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
